The man behind the cat

Mickey FioRito

Hello! My name is Mickey FioRito and thanks for checking out our website. Chances are if you’re reading this you received a piece of mail from me and want to know who I am. I was born in Chicago raised in the northern suburbs and have transacted properties everywhere between. I enjoy tavern style pizza, hot giardiniera and of course I dip my beef. I enjoy cooking and am a self proclaimed sandwich aficionado. Outside real estate I enjoy traveling with my wife and learning more about the rich history of the city of Chicago.

I started Black Cat Properties after I came into possession of a burdensome property. A single family home in extremely poor condition. Not knowing my options I decided to list the home with a local real estate agent, which was ultimately a lengthy and unsuccessful process. Not just the sale price but the time the home spent sitting on the market was nothing short of a catastrophe. The lesson learned was the end goal for every home is not the same. I wish someone had explained the options of selling my home both on and off market to me before I choose real estate as my career path. I would love the chance to work with you!
